Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards. |

The 34-mile drive traverses a beautiful forested section of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains between the pastoral Mora River Valley and the ski resort of Angel Fire. The drive not only passes through the lush grassy valleys and forested slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, it also passes through time. It starts in Mora, a small Hispanic town settled in about 1816, and ends in Angel Fire, a modern resort town with skiing, golf, and other outdoor activities. Unlike most of the drives in New Mexico, this one passes largely through private land. Please respect the rights of property owners. Special attractions: Coyote Creek State Park, Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Angel Fire ski area and resort, camping, fishing, and fall color. This eTrail is a complete description of a scenic drive with a route map and information on the best travel seasons, interesting sites, recreation opportunities, camping locations, and much more. |

The majority of residents are employed locally and are in the tourism industry. The primary employer is Angel Fire Resort which offers summer and winter employment. Being a tourist destination brings thousands of visitors to this quiet town during the winter months. Summer, however, provides a more relaxed pace of vacationers simply enjoying the cool, fresh air and the wonderful smell of pine trees. Being a relatively young town, Angel Fire is not without its growing pains. There is an increasing number of people making Angel Fire their full-time residence. As a result the Village of Angel Fire has taken over the Village sewer and water system, They are working right now on expanding the system. There is a new community center which was completed during the Summer 98 (ask for directions - it's not on a main road). Several new office complexes have been built in the last 3 years. |
